Cancellation & Refund Policy

How cancellations, refunds and date changes work for tours and transfers booked through Experiences Trip.

[NEEDS OWNER REVIEW] These are conservative default terms pending the operator's final confirmation. Specific deadlines and refund percentages may change before launch.

Tours & excursions

Cancellation deadlines are calculated from the local start time of your experience in the Dominican Republic (Atlantic Standard Time, UTC-4).

  • 7 or more days before the experience: 100% refund.
  • 3 to 7 days before the experience: 50% refund.
  • Less than 3 days before the experience: no refund.

Transfers

Transfer cancellation deadlines are calculated from the scheduled pickup time.

  • 48 hours or more before pickup: 100% refund.
  • 24 to 48 hours before pickup: 50% refund.
  • Less than 24 hours before pickup: no refund.

Cancellations by the operator

If we cancel a tour or transfer for any reason — including weather, sea conditions, or force majeure — you are entitled to a 100% refund or a free reschedule to another available date, at your choice.

Date changes

Changing the date of a booking (rather than cancelling it) is subject to availability. There is no change fee when the request is made with the same advance notice that would have qualified for a refundable cancellation.

No-shows

Failure to appear at the meeting point or pickup location at the scheduled time, without prior notice, is treated as a no-show and is not eligible for a refund.

Contact us by email at info@experiencestrip.com or by WhatsApp at +1 (201) 685-9403, quoting your booking reference (for example, ET-XXXX). Refunds are processed to the original payment method.
